We’re getting major holiday envy already.

After all, it’s not just the blossoming relationships and drama that have us glued to the screen – every series we’ve been given plenty of summer inspiration thanks to the glorious sunny location and luxury accommodation that contestants are treated to.

So, where is exactly is Love Island and, more importantly, can you stay there?

We reveal everything you need to know about the villa’s sun-soaked location, including the best things to see and do if you’re feeling inspired to a romantic break abroad yourself…

Or of course, you could hire one of these Love Island-style villas for the summer too!

Where is Love Island filmed?

The sun-soaked island is closer than you think – Majorca, Spain to be exact.

With a flight time of under three hours, it’s an ideal holiday destination whether you’re looking to book in a long weekend, or want to spend a full week exploring the region’s beautiful beaches or picturesque Palma.

Where are the contestants staying?

The group are treated to a luxury villa for their temporary new home – and this series it looks like it’s more glamorous than ever.

ITV2 are using the same villa as last year, although it’s currently being given a major update .

We can’t wait to see what’s new although we can’t help but hope some of our favourites from the hot tub to the gym are staying.

Oh, and the outdoor kitchen that served as the backdrop for the setting of many awkward ‘the morning after’ scenarios!

The villa interiors are pretty stunning, from large bedrooms to a marble bathroom with a luxurious looking bath.

Oh and of course there’s likely to still be a dressing room where the girls and boys can get ready for their dates.

Last series saw the Hideaway was back: a separate bedroom where contestants can enjoy some alone time.

But whether it remains the same or gets an even more luxurious update remains to be seen.

We’re also on the look out for the iconic ‘Beach Hut’, where the cast can come and open up to the cameras about their blossoming romances, or vent about their fellow housemates.
